At the heart of Memories from Abroad is a belief that travel is defined by emotion, experience, and the moments that stay with you long after you return home. Felix and Celine approach each destination with this in mind, working to translate fleeting experiences into images and films that feel both personal and universally relatable. When Nikon reached out to them in 2024 and invited them to the Creator Event in Amsterdam, it marked a turning point in how they thought about their equipment and their creative potential. Since then, they have worked across a range of Nikon cameras and lenses, gaining hands-on experience with the Nikon Z6III, Nikon Z50II, Nikon Z5II, and the Nikon Zf R, alongside lenses including the NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8, the NIKKOR Z 28-200mm f/4-6.3 VR, and the NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S. The Nikon Z6III has become their primary camera of choice, valued for its image quality across both photo and video, as well as its compact form that suits constant travel. For them, reliable gear means the freedom to focus entirely on storytelling rather than the tools behind it.
