The NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR goes all the way from wide angle to medium telephoto, allowing you to shoot in many different ways. Wide angle is great for interiors and big landscapes, while the telephoto end is perfect for portraits.

With minimum focus distances of just 15cm in wide angle and 25cm in telephoto, you can create really dynamic images by getting close to your subject. Combined with the fast f/2.8 aperture, the close focal distance means you can take beautiful pictures of things such as flowers or small objects surrounded by creamy blurred bokeh.

The fast f/2.8 aperture lets you shoot with higher shutter speeds, reducing possible image blur, and you can avoid higher ISO settings that can introduce grain and ‘noise’ to the final image.

Vibration Reduction for rock steady performance

With 5.0 stops of compensation and support for synchro VR with a compatible camera body (which brings compensation up to 5.5 stops) you can leave the tripod at home. Whether you’re working in low light situations or want to use slower shutter speeds, the VR helps you achieve clean, sharp images, severely reducing any impact from camera shake.

Hi-res zoom is available on compatible Nikon DX cameras, giving you an extra 2x zoom with no loss of quality or change in aperture, while the control ring can be customised to various functions.
